It's been a long time since we've been in studio so this feels great

les parties à la basse de "Kiveen" sont maintenant terminées et le smecs sont en train de jouer les parties à la guitare comme s'il n'y aurait pas de lendemain. Ca va être super bien. Au moins, notre orchestre est en feu.
Après nous allons faire "Paha sisällä" et ensuite, plus de batterie.
Ca faisait un moment que nous n'étions pas allés en studio donc c'est super.

Soon the basic drums for the fourth song will be figured out and then we'll record them. At the moment it seems that we'd get maybe seven songs quite ready here. That's nice.

Next the string section should start with songs "Vapauta" and "Heavylaulu". It's going to be great. We're also shooting a video diary here in the studio so at some point you can see on our homepage what stupid things we've done here.

Les bases à la batteries de la quatrième chansons seront bientôt prêtes et nous pourrons les enregistrer. En ce moment, il semble que nous ayons peut-être sept chansons prêtes ici. C'est cool.
Après, la section cordes devrait commencer avec les chansons "Vapauta" et "Heavylaulu". Ca va être super. Nous filmons aussi une video studio ici, vous pourrez voir sur notre page d'accueil les choses stupides que nous avons faites ici.

Hi!
For now it's the last studio day here in Hollola. We finished drums for six songs and we have guitars and bass for three of them. For the three other songs we'll start now a monstrous guitar session, which involves going to sauna, playing guitar totally naked, refreshments, shouting, cursing, going to sauna and even more nakedness when playing. It may sound good but it doesn't look good. Yes, and those six songs are called (at least at the moment) Kiveen (To the stone), Paha sisällä (Evil inside), Se ei lähde pois (It doesn't go away), Myrkky (Poison), Älä jää (Don't stay) and Vapauta meidät (Set us free). Well, back to the chamber!

Salut!
Pour maintenant, c'est le dernier jour au studio, ici, à Hollola. Nous avons terminé les parties à la batterie pour six chansons et nous avons les parties à la basse et à la guitare pour trois d'entre elles. Pour les trois autres chansons, nous allons commencer une énorme session guitare, ce qui implique d'aller au sauna, jouer de la guitare totalement nu, rafraîchissements, cris, jurons, aller au sauna et même encor eplus de nudité en jouant. Ouais, et les six chansons sont (pour le moment) Kiveen (à la pierre), Paha sisällä (Mal à l'intérieur), Se ei lähde pois (Ca ne part pas), Myrkky (Poison), Älä Jää (Ne reste pas) et Vapauta meidät (Libère-nous). Bien à la chambre!

There were few questions that caught my eye.
About the studio sessions, them being easy or hard..
In my opinion these sessions have been MUCH more pleasant ja unstressful than for example those ones with Kehä, when we were touring at the same time and we weren't able to concentrate properly in anything. Songs been bursting out easier at least when it comes to me and the feeling has been great as hell since the beginning.
We are going to try to perform one or two new songs in Sappee but it still depends on few matters.

Next week were on again. Monday and Tuesday there's some demoing and on Wednesday we're going back to Petrax (the studio). Hopefully we manage to do all bases for the songs during that session. After that there's going to be vocals, strings and so on in Tampere... And then, little by little, it'll be ready. Especially for the single release of the spring. Hymiö
Anyway... The songs have probably been written and we're quite sure about the ones that are going to end up on record. The feeling is still growing. I think that the songs works well and I can't wait to go and do some more. And summer is already heating up, so we could go and play the songs for real. Those couple gigs in the middle will bring some comfort.
Wish it was a summer already.

Next week in studio as Teemu alredy told. The feeling is high and I guess you can easily hear it on the new album. The songs really are working and making them has been specially rewarding and some way quite easy. Let's hope that within these sessions the song bases are going to be finished and we get the songs ready and wrapped.
Teemu is really talking for the whole band when he's telling that we miss gigs... it's going to be awesome to perform new songs to you! Well... In May it'll be single releasing (at least it looks like that for now) and then it's summer and festivals. And then in the fall there'll be tour with the new record! COOL!

Aijaijai. We're chosen the songs for the new album and the feeling is so good that I'm gonna pee in my pants. Tomorrow we're going back to Petrax to do the last basework. It's getting colder but it's also getting cooler the same time.
Propably some more from Hollola (the place where Petrax is).

Hi!
The drum monkey has done his work for this album! Great feeling and we have so great songs that I just can't understand it...

Teemu is just doing the bass and Pasi played guitars earlier. So this day is string group's work (string group can also be translated "tongue group" Silmänisku). I'm just enjoing the great songs. From here we will move tomorrow to Tampere to our "homestudio" and continue working there... so more guitar, bass, synthesizer, percussions and that kind of stuff and probably singing will start soon too!!

We will finish the album first and then think about singles and videos. ROKROK!!!

"Hello there.

Now we really are going to be on final straight. Tomorrow I'm gonna draw couple of bass lines and then my tasks are over. Little parts of the guitar are still missing + background (I guess he means that... ) and singing and after that it's wrapped. The feeling is so great that I got pee in my pants 24/7.

All in all the session was quite easy and carefree. Anselmi (Antti) did the drums in that time and mood that it was no laughing matter. After that the string section flipped the bases and then we've been playing with feeling all kinds of nice hooks and stuff to songs. Just waiting the release now. But time will fly, summer festivals and then the album will be in stores.

This is going to be cracking.

Well well.

Hi, and first of all i want to apologise the fact that we havent been writing to the english topic at all. But here we go. The recordings are now in a state that almost all the quitars are done. Basses and drums were finished about a week ago. Jussi is going to start singing next wednesday i think. It seems that there are going to be twelwe songs on the album. The last one is called "aika mustaa muistot" (time blackens the memories?) which is an accoustic, and quite a sad song, surprisingly. Hymiö We are feeling great and confident indeed whit the new material and we are really anxious to show it to you guys. Your patience will be rewarded. Silmänisku

Hope we see you guys next summer at the festivals. We are going to start touring in june with our new single and then on with the album release at fall.

This is going to be fantastic.

As someone already told, the new promo photos and new covers for an album have been taken ja they're nice!
The photo shooting went cosily outside... except toes frozed in icy water of some old pool...hrr! That's about it. Teemu already advertised new single. I can say, that even it is so called "partysong", it's still very much "sturdy" but a little bit jollier than the other album material is. At summertime you don't want to intrude those low spirits songs... heh! In fall we can go to those deep and dark waters that Teemu already mentioned.
